We are updating the platform to facilitate user access and monthly user allocations. These policies are related to the migration of COSMIC2 to a self-sustaining platform that will be based on paid access for premium features. 

User access

We will require academic emails for all users. This means that domain names such as gmail.com, 163.com, etc. will not be allowed for job submission. We are instituting this to facilitate user management (i.e., one email account accessing COSMIC2 per person) and to ensure non-commercial use.  Please email cosmic2support [at] umich.edu if you have job submission issues with an academic email address. 

Monthly user allocations

All users will receive 10 GPU-hours per month for free. Additional hours can be requested by emailing cosmic2support [at] umich.edu.  In the long term, we will introduce pricing tiers for additional GPU hours. These prices will be announced in August 2025.
